Epoxy Based Bitumen Coating
Nurproxy is a two-component, water-based epoxy system. It provides high hardness and abrasion resistance. It can be applied on dry or slightly damp substrates, without standing water. It is classified as SR-B2,0 according to ASTM D638:03.

Application of Nurproxy
Nurproxy is used as a primer and other polyurethane systems, when applied on non-absorptive substrates or old waterproofing layers. It may also be used as a primer, as well as for preparing (with the addition of quartz sand) a repairing (filling) material for cement-based substrates, such as concrete or cementscreeds, that will be covered with epoxy resins

Instructions For Use
Substrate Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from grease,
laitance, oil or dust. Remove all loose
material. Moisture content should not exceed 5%. New concrete should be at
least 28 days old.
Old, loose coatings, dirt, fats, oils, organic substances and dust need to
be removed by a grinding
machine. Possible surface irregularities need to be smoothened, in prior to

PW. All steel substrates should be free from dirt, oil and grease and
blast-cleaned to Sa 2½
according to EN ISO 12944, part 4.
Product Preparation
Stir each component separately first for ten seconds. Then,
pour the entire contents of the smaller
can (hardener) into the base container and the material should be mixed well
for at least one
minute by mechanical mixer using a slow or medium speed mixing drill. The
epoxy must be well
mixed to ensure proper chemical reaction. After mixing, apply immediately.
Product Application
Nurpoxy doesn’t need primer. Once mixed, the material should
be immediately applied using a
brush, roller or spray ensuring a continuous coating of uniform thickens.
Two coats are
recommended to obtain the required protection level, keeping 24 hours in
between them. It is highly
recommended to use different colour in each coat to control hiding all
surfaces in both applications.

Safety Precaution
Application should be done in a ventilated area away from any heat source. Wear protective gear for hands and eyes and avoid breathing of vapour. If mixed resin comes into contact with the skin, it should be promptly removed before hardening, followed by thoroughly washing the skin with soap and water. In case of heavy vapour inhalation, place affected person in an open-air area. In case of contact with eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. In all cases, seek medical attention. In case of fire, use CO2 foam to extinguish. Tightly seal containers when not in use, store them away from heat and carefully dispose empty ones.
